Sales people frequently get upset with their lack of sales success. They even go as far as blaming the customer. However, they do not realize that when they externalize - pass the blame or point the finger at someone else - there are actually three fingers pointing back to the real problem - you! Does your attitude have anything to do with you level of sales success?

It begins with your attitude. Attitude is the key and the foundation of your sales success.

What is Attitude? Attitude is your way of thinking or behaving. Your attitude towards people also influences your behavior towards them. Your attitude affects your level of satisfaction in life and with your job. Your attitude affects everyone who comes into contact with you. Your attitude is reflected in your tone of voice, your posture and your facial expressions.

Your past and present are a result of your past attitude. However, your present attitude will determine your future. The greatest thing about attitude is that it is not fixed and it is 100% within your control. Your attitude is your decision.

Your attitude is created by your beliefs. Your beliefs were developed in the early years. It may be time to re-evaluate them. Dig deep and make the necessary changes. Your present-day beliefs determine your attitude. It is your attitude that determines how you feel. How you feel determines how you act, and how you act determines the realization of your goals.

How you identify with yourself, your self-worth, your self-esteem and your self-confidence reflects in your attitude. How you are perceived by others, and how they react to you, is also reflected in your attitude.

It all starts within you, the most important person in the world. You have to take control of your attitude and as it improves so will your sales success. Your attitude is you and what you believe your future to be.
