The Recession Is Here. Sales Are Down. Bankruptcies On The Increase.
15 February 2009 9:21 am Sales TrainingNonsense! Sales people and business owners beware! Do not become a product of this negative environment. Be careful what you allow to influence you, as you do have a choice.
Are you fed up with all the negative talk in the media? Have they had an influence on your thoughts already?
We keep hearing about:
‘The global economic meltdown’ – ‘Jobs axed’ – ‘World growth shrinking’ – ‘Business defunct’ – ‘Continuous losses’ – ‘Debts mounting’ – ‘Sectors declining’ – ‘Cutting costs and staff’ – ‘Recession deepens’ – ‘Crisis to worsen’ – ‘Filing for bankruptcy’ – ‘The credit crunch’ – ‘Further bailout required’
How do you feel after reading these headlines? Drained, I’m sure!
How would you feel after reading the following headlines instead?
‘Entrepreneur starts new business’ – ‘Exciting new product developed’ – ‘Business has a major turnaround and makes 100% gains’ – ‘Sales increase by 500%’ – ‘Sales Team morale high in this company’ – ‘This company keeps finding new sales opportunities’ – ‘Sales Staff engaged to boost sales productivity’
INSPIRED, I hope. The reality is these events are taking place every day but we never hear about them because BAD NEWS sells. Our mind has 60,000 thoughts every day. What we input and what influences us becomes our reality. We do have a choice!
Don’t leave your future sales SUCCESS to random chance. Your entire sales team needs to be inspired. They must have razor-sharp, positive thoughts every day and remain focused. They should be encouraged to work along side change in order to be prosperous in 2009. Do not be followers, be leaders.
Refuse to be part of this alleged global recession and do not be swayed by negative media talk. There are always two sides of the coin and day always follows night. Which one are you focused on?
Cutbacks support and contribute to a recession, and to the downsizing of your organization.
Sales motivation and sales training supports and contributes to the bottom line and the future growth of your organization.
Which one is more important to you? Which one are you contributing to?
