We have entertained family, some old and some new friends and have been entertained. Overall, we are most thankful for the time we were able to spend together, the people we have met and the experiences of summer, regardless of the weather as it was not under our control.

A big part of being thankful is also the capability of giving back. This year has been an incredible year for us in that area.

We have adopted a village in Sri Lanka through Free the Children, had trees planted through Plant a Tree Today, and donated my time and expertise to many non-profit organizations. I must say that I am proud to be a certified social entrepreneur.
