Greetings from Dubai,

The view from my room is incredible as I see the The Burj Dubai under construction - It is not only the world’s highest building.  It is a shining symbol – an icon of the new Middle East - prosperous, dynamic, and successful.

Many people don’t realize it but the success of Dubai is not based on oil reserves, but on reserves of human talent, ingenuity, initiative and most of all, an incredible vision.  Something my client here also has, as that has made them one of the leading master developers in Dubai in just four short years.

During my stay last week I also got a first hand tour of Palm Island – another impossible dream that became a reality.  Dubai is an incredible city, with incredible, friendly people,  that one must visit to realize it. With direct flights now available from most major cities in the world, Dubai is very accessible.  Plan your visit here soon. To learn more about Dubai, or the UAE Ask-Ali.Com.

This Wednesday I return to Toronto and will be attending a very special entrepreneurial event this Thursday night and Friday morning. Plan on joining me.  Subscriber’s can register for a complimentary pass using coupon code XL228F5.  Looking forward to seeing you there.

This week you can learn about Giving Feedback to Others. Next week you can learn about Receiving Feedback from others.  So, stay tuned!

Have a G.R.E.A.T. week ahead.

Bob

Reader Testimonial

I just wanted to thank you for the inspirational messages of yesterday and especially the part about 'giving'. You have referred to one of the Prophet Mohammed's hadeeth (sayings) in your presentation yesterday (see quote below). You said: Know that if you are alive and healthy, you have a fridge with food, and a bed to sleep on; you should be thankful. Many of the concepts you discussed do in fact root back to Islamic teachings: giving back, positive attitude and behavior, cooperation and team work, humble managerial behavior, preparing the bottom line. I just found it worthy relating these concepts to Islam; which at the end of the day is what the instinct leads us back to: the truth.

Thanks again,
Noreen, Dubai
