Greetings from Aswan, Upper Egypt,

During the past week we have visited the museum and pyramids in the Cairo area while attending and speaking at one of the best Regional Sales conferences that I have ever attended.  Imagine starting a conference by having dinner is a private catered tent overlooking the lit-up Pyramids at night, followed by a full day with great speakers and then a day off site making a difference in the lives of others.  With a team of over 150 strong we renovated an SOS village orphanage in Cairo where we contributed to creating a better environment for 92 orphans.  Just look at the smile on the faces of these young girls.

Following a day of hard work, a black tie Gala dinner was held, complete with an Opera singer, speakers and a live band to dance to.  Wow, what an event.  Congratulations to JW Marriott, Cairo Hotel and to the dirty dozen task force.

After the event we took a Nile River cruise and visited Luxor, the Valley of the Kings and Aswan.  We are now on our way to Sharm el Sheikh along the Red Sea on the Sinai Peninsula, before returning home later this week.
