Spring is definitely on in Canada. We are experiencing warm weather and high water levels.

While taking a walk along the Ottawa River, which was moving at a faster pace than usual, I came across this beaver who did not want to swim up river, so he was walking the shoreline.

As he did, I managed to get a lot of pictures, as it is difficult to get a picture of a beaver on shore. Unfortunately, I could not get a picture of his teeth, but did get this one of his tail, which makes a lot of noise when it flaps down into the water.
