Welcome to October,
 This is a colorful time of year in Eastern Canada with all the leaves changing colors. This is a photo of the old steam train that goes from Ottawa to Wakefield, along the Gatineau River. It is a very popular thing to do, especially at this time of the year.
This coming weekend is the Canada’s Thanksgiving weekend. Families and friends get together and celebrate the occasion over a Thanksgiving dinner. We always host this dinner at our place and usually accommodate around 25 family members for this event. It is just another way for us to show our appreciation of family and friends, something we are thankful for on a daily basis.
Don’t wait until your Thanksgiving to share your appreciation. There is two parts to the word Thanksgiving. 1. Be thankful on a daily basis, even if is just for waking up this morning and being able to see, read, get online, and the list goes on. Then think how you can do the second part.
2. Giving – what can you do to give to those less fortunate than you?
